Japanese manga attack on titan is both written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama .Now before we go deep in talking about this anime let me give you a simple bird eye view about the story and then we will discuss it in deep .So basically attack on titan is story in which the all the humans live inside the walls but why ? To protect them from man eating creatures which are called titans in the series .Human feel safe inside the walls because they know that if they will move out they will be attacked by these titans who are hungery for human flesh .The story revolves around a young boy who you can referred to as the main protagonist in the series call Eren yeager .This young boy eren yeager takes the pledge that he will erase all the titans as these titans had make chaoes in this home town and destroyed it fully in this incident her mother dies as well.
Ryo suzukaze written a light novel series called attack on titan : before fall and it is illustrated by thores shibamoto began on April 1 2011.The events in the story are before the manga and it is published under kodansha .In this novel it tells the story of the angel and black smith who created the first prototypes of maneuvering gear equipment and both of these follow the third man who who was found inside the stomach of the titan when he was baby .There was also another novel series which is written by ryo kawakami and drawn by Range murata called attack on titan: Harsh mistress of the story .There was also one novel called Attack on titan lost girls which was written by hirshi seko .In 2016 its was also realized in English .An American writer Rachel aron created a novel called Garrison girl : An Attack on Titan which was published by Quick books.
The first season was directed by Tetsuro araki and produced by wit studio And aired from 7 April 2013 till 29 September 2013.Masashi Koizuka directed the second and the third season broadcasted from 1 April 2017 to 17 June 2017.
Now lets talk about serialization who serialized attack on titan .Notebly kodanshas serialized attack on titan in their monthy bessatsu Shonen magazine since the 2009 year of the September and if we talk about it today around 32 tankobon volumes is collected as of 2020.

Attack on titan season 1
In September 2013 the broadcasting of the first season of attack on titan ended with 25 episodes which initially began in July of 2013.
Attack on titan season 2
Season 2 of the attack on titan was broadcasted in April till June of 2017 ( 12 episodes).
In season 3 22 episodes were needed to be broadcasted but as the makers wanted to focus more on storytelling these 22 episodes of attack on titan season 3 in two parts the first part had around 12 episodes which were broadcasted on July 2018 till October other 10 episodes were broadcasted on April of 2019 till July.
Attack on titan is huge hit and with an excellent commercial success.
talking about its commercial let me tell that around 100 million copies of attack on titan were sold ( December 2019).Which made it one of the best series that ever made.

The first three season of the attack on titan was very praised by the audience due to the great quality of animation, music ,storyland very well voice acting .And it only because of above reason it uplifted the fan base in Asia as well as USA as well.
As the series was gaining an excessive amount of popularity in japan and other neighboring countries it was about fell into political controversies in china and south Korea.
the story is bout the town shiganshina which reside at the edge of wall Maria .Our main character who lives in this named eren yeager .Wall Maria is protected by the other outside walls that helps in preventing titan attacks and it was said that all the human being which existed before the story were exterminated by these titans .It is bout the year 845 when the wall was attack by the the two titans and the name of the two titans were armored titan and colossal titans .Eren mother was killed by an other titan yellow trying to make their children’s escape.
And it is due to this incident eren swears that he will kill all the titan to take revenge for his mom .Their after this incident eren with his other childhood friends armin arlet, Mikasa Ackermann and joins militatary.
the first 65 pages were created by Hajime isayama a one shot version of the attack on titan which was in 2006.when the serialization of attack on titan began in 2009 Hajime isayama had many ideas for the series twist and turns .It was hometown hita that the author inially thought main scenery for they manga, hita is surround by many mountains .Hajime isayama changed his art style when he began working for the Shonen so that isayamas style could match with that of Shonen .It was weekly Shonen magazine at kodansha where Isayama switched to when he decided not to work weekly Shonen jump at shueisha.
Hajime Isayama used several model of various martial artist such for eren yeager he used yushin okami and for armored titan he used brock Lesner for the look of the titans .Attack on titans wall of fear is inspired by the enclosed nature of the Japanese culture .attack on titans anime producer George wada has stated that the main influence of the series is the inner felling of the character.
when isayama was working at the café their was one of the customer that garbed him by his collar .After that incident it showed hajime isayama that their is always a felling of fear when can’t communicate with the other person which is very well portrayed by him in the form of titans.
According to the isayama he was thinking of ending with pretty similar to that of Stephen kings the mist to make attack on titan a tragic conclusion that is to make everyone die in the series in the end so so that he can end the series when it series will hit the 2o volume (September 2013).But he couldn’t do it because the manga was at hype at that moment so he thought he should change the ending because it might affects fans of the attack on titan .Hajime isayama even planned out the story before even he began writhing the story keeping in mind at which volume a truth must be told in a volume as he he knew that it will take 3 month to draw one chapter of the manga and a week to make the story board.
Jonetsu Tairiku a type of Japanese documentary program in November 2018 broadcasted an episode related to the struggles of the author to make the manga complete .In this documentary program Attack on titan manga author isayama clarified that he is going to end the manga in 2020 as the story is now at the final arc.
It was in 2020 of the June than Isayama declared that only 5% of the manga is left and expected that the story will be completed of the end of the year .Around 2% of the story was left away to reach the conclusion ( November 2020) and also stated that it will end at the end of the year .In January 2021 Isayama stated it will end on April 9 2021 finishing its eleven year publication.
Attack on titan : junior high is parody for children’s which is basically a spin-off which is written by saki nakagawa and serialization behind in may 2012 under bessastsu shonen magazine. This parody has the same main characters as of the series in this story all the main characters battle titan while they are in junior high.
Their is another series which is prequel to attack on titan : before the fall which run under kodansha’s monthy Shonen sirius from august 2013 satoshi shiki draws them .Another series called attack on titan: No regrets and shojo manga magazine Aria serialize it .It focus more origin of levi journey which is one of the most important character in the story which is illustrated by hikaru surugo and written by gun snark .Attack on titan : lost girls a manga adaptation of hiroshi seko’s adaptation was illustrated and written by the Royoshuke fuji which started the publication in bessatsu magazine on August 9 , 2015.
